Strange discovery of technology. 'TV can be rolled.'

After watching the television, you can put your television to one side of your room by folding it. It seems a science fiction to you after reading the previous line but this technology is within the reach now.

LG has experimentally created such a television already. They have showed it to the world exhibition in Las Vegas - Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

LG was working for the development of such a television for a long time. Their created television display has high-definition (HD) quality.

LG gave the opportunity to test this new television to Dave Lee who is the technology correspondent of BBC. He tells that the television screen is practically like a paper, which can be kept by folding.

The screen size of the tested TV of LG is 18-inches. However, they are now planning to build a television, which is 55 inches. The screen quality will be 4k, which is four times better than HD.

How is it possible?

LG is not exposing their secret of this new technology. However, we know that they are now going to OLED technology instead of LED.

O-LED means organic-LED. The screen can be bent because the back-panel is no longer required in this television.

What is the need of a television, which can be bent?

LG says that the television screen will be important for the making of arbitrary display in such as stores. This television will be very good for them, who do not want to allocate a corner of the room for television. End of watching TV, make the screen like a round ball and keep it anywhere else. No trouble.
